Asheville Bee Charmer is a nationally recognized, locally loved specialty store selling honey from around the world and other bee-related provisions. Their operation is driven by a mission to promote and protect the humble honeybee.
Since designing their brand identity in 2014, I've helped Asheville Bee Charmer develop an easy to manage labeling system for their honey varieties. More recently, I helped them revamp their website to focus more on selling products online.
With tenacious ownership on a mission to help the increasingly imperiled honeybee, Asheville Bee Charmer's flagship store debuted with a warm, woodcut aesthetic, welcoming customers into a rich "hive" buzzing with all things Bee. In a town obsessed with craft beer, Bee Charmer found a sweet spot as a family-friendly destination, a perfect stop-in during a daytime romp around downtown Asheville.
